Mukesh Choudhary is one of the finds of the ongoing season of the IPL. The left-arm pacer has impressed one and all with his performances in his maiden IPL season. Choudhary did not cost Chennai Super Kings big. CSK had signed him up at his base price of Rs 20 lakh and what a signing he has turned out to be. Choudhary got the chance to play this season mainly because of Deepak Chahar’s absence and he has grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

In 12 games so far, he has picked up an impressive 16 wickets. Choudhary has also showed that he is capable of bowling a left-arm pacer’s traditional mode of inswing to the right-hander and outswing to the left-hander. Team India are searching for a good left-arm pacer for quite some time now and Choudhary could be their answer.

In 12 games so far, he has scored an impressive 368 runs at an average of nearly 41 and a strike-rate of more than 132. Verma has also scored two fifties so far.

Recent reports have claimed that he might be named in the Indian team for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa. Prior to doing well in the IPL, he had also impressed in the domestic circuit. He had scored 215 runs at a strike rate of 147.26 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021-22.

Avesh Khan has been doing well in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and that is why he caused a bidding war in this year’s mega auction. After registering himself at a base price of Rs 20 lakh, he went on to secure a lucrative deal of INR 10 crore from Lucknow Super Giant. The right-arm pacer has once again managed to impress everyone with his bowling. In 11 games so far, he has picked up 17 wickets while conceding less than 8 runs per over.

He is one of the big reasons behind Lucknow Super Giants’ fine performance in their maiden season. The Lucknow-based franchise are in a strong position in the league and are looking set to seal their place in the playoffs. Avesh is yet to play for India but the way he is performing from the last few seasons, it is just a matter of time before he replaces a player in the national team.

Team India have been searching for a good middle-order batsman for quite some time now and Rahul Tripathi could be one of the options for them. The right-handed batsman has been doing well in the IPL since his inaugural season in 2017. His consistent displays in the previous seasons was one of the reasons why Sunrisers Hyderabad spent Rs 8.5 crore on him in the mega auction. And Tripathi has done quite well this season.

In 12 outings, he has scored only 317 runs at an average of more than 35 and a strike-rate of nearly 160. Tripathi has the ability to play the big shots at any stage of an innings and that makes him a valuable T20 player. Sunrisers Hyderabad had raised a number of eyebrows by retaining him before this year’s mega auction. In his maiden IPL season last year, Malik had played only 3 games and had picked up 2 wickets. But it was enough for Sunrisers to know about his talent and they did not release him. And Malik has repaid the faith in fine style.

He has set the stage on fire with his raw pace this season. The pace sensation has clocked the fastest ball of IPL 2022 when he bowled one at 156.9 kph against Delhi Capitals. He has constantly touched the 150 kph mark this season. Malik was also the first bowler to pick up a five-wicket haul this season. So far, he has picked up an impressive 18 wickets in 12 games.
