Delhi Capitals have imposed a strong  ‘Code of Conduct’ for their team players as one of their cricketers reportedly misbehaved with a woman at a franchise party. David Warner-led side had a disastrous start to their campaign losing five games on a trot before winning back-to-back matches against Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

According to a report, a Delhi Capital player misconducted during the team’s party and the franchise has taken swift action to maintain the public image of the franchise, as the players can no longer bring anyone to their rooms post 10 pm and if so they can bring their guests only to the team hotel restaurant.

After this incident, the players were also advised to inform the management when they wish to leave their hotel to meet someone they know. The advisory committee shared with the players after their win over the 2016 champions comes stating with a warning that any breach of the code might result in a fine or even termination of the contract.

As per the code, players and support staff have to bear the travel expenses of their partners and inform the franchise officials before their family members join the contingent for the matches.

Delhi Capitals have found them wanting in the news for the wrong reasons in IPL 2023, despite having a poor run in the league as their players lost few bats during the transit after the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, which was later recovered and handed over to the team.

Delhi Capitals Will Look Register Their Hattrick Victory In The League Stage

David Warner-led side registered their 2nd victory against the 2016 champions in a closely fought encounter where Mukesh Kumar held his nerve in the final over to help the team. The Australian southpaw was handed the responsibility to lead the Delhi team, which didn’t go according to the plan as they have had a poor start in the last few years.

Delhi Capitals have collectively failed in the initial games of the league as they were outplayed in the first five matches of IPL 2023 before registering their 1st victory against the two-time champions in the home stadium and continuing their fine form against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
David Warner-led side will take on 2016 Champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in their reverse fixture in the 8th league game on April 29 on Saturday and they will look to build on their winning moment against the Aiden Markram-led side.
