Chennai Super Kings star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja revealed that he always wanted to do something special for the Men in Yellow in the IPL and asserted that the team is going in the right direction in the league as they have been playing consistently well in the last few games.

The four-time champions are currently placed at the number three position in the points table just below the Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants in terms of net run rate. Ravindra Jadeja was the hero of the match for the four-time champions, as the Indian all-rounder bowled brilliantly well in the middle overs to pick three wickets.

After the match in the video released by iplt20.com, The 34-year-old was seen chatting with their bowling coach Dwayne Bravo about his performance against the 2016 champions. Jadeja said that he was elated to do well for the franchise and wanted to continue the winning momentum going forward in the tournament.

“Very much, very much. The way I have been bowling, I’m pretty happy. I always look forward to doing something special for my team. Everything is looking great. We just try and continue the momentum. The way we have been playing from the last three-four games has been amazing,” Ravindra Jadeja said.

Ravindra Jadeja has been continuing fine form since his return to International cricket after long laying injury in 2022, as he was the star performer for India in the high-octane Border Gavaskar Trophy to help India win the series and make it World Test Championship final for the second consecutive time.

So far in the IPL 2023, Jadeja continued his fine form for the Chennai Super Kings picking up nine wickets in six games at an economy rate of 6.70, producing a match-winning performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
