Former India cricketers Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and S Sreesanth met Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant who is recovering from an injury due to a tragic car accident. It was a nice gesture from the senior cricketers to spend some quality time with him ahead of IPL 2023.
The former cricketers, who were part of India Maharajas in the Legends League Cricket lost to Asian Lions in the eliminator will be seen commentating on this edition of Indian Premier League 2023. Before their assignment to IPL 2023, they went to meet Rishabh Pant and wished him a speedy recovery from injury.

Earlier this month, former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh shared a picture with Rishabh Pant and wished him to make comeback into cricket. It is a very kind act by the former Indian cricketers to meet him during a tough time in his career.

Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting ruined the absence of Rishabh Pant for the 2023 season calling him as heart and soul of the team and also rating Pant as one of the best players in the world in all three formats. According to reports Delhi Capitals are looking at Abhishek Porel, Luvnith Sisodia, Sheldon Jackson, and a few others as a replacement for Rishabh Pant.
“Pant is a huge loss, and we are still going to miss him. He is one of the best players in the world in all three formats,” Ponting said.
Delhi Capitals began their preparation under Ricky Ponting and Sourav Ganguly in Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi with the likes of David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Ishant Sharma, and Prithvi Shaw among the players present in the preseason camp. Delhi Capitals will get their campaign underway on April 1 against Lucknow Super Giants after the first match of the 2023 season.
