Former Indian pacer S.Sreesanth wants Royal Challengers Bangalore to lift their maiden trophy in the IPL 2023 and also added he will support Rajasthan Royals with whom he played during his playing days. Most of the IPL teams have started their pre-season camps for the 2023 season to prepare well for the tournament.
The cash-rich league is about to start in less than two weeks’ time, and the buzz around the league is constantly increasing. Many cricket experts predicted the winner of this edition of the IPL and the latest one to join is a former Indian cricketer, Sreesanth.
Speaking to Sports Yaari, Sreesanth said CSK has less chance to win the IPL and he would support his state-mate Sanju Samson and reckoned it would be great for RCB if they win the championship this season.
“I don’t think CSK will win IPL 2023. There is only one Mallu captain – Sanju Samson – I am supporting them (Rajasthan Royals). But it would be fun if a new team wins. I would feel great if RCB win IPL 2023. Virat Kohli has done so much for Indian cricket…it would be great if RCB win,” he added.
Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the only three sides who are playing in the league since the inaugural season and are yet to win it. Royal Challengers Bangalore has been one of the most consistent sides in the last three years reaching the playoffs but being unable to get through the final hurdle.
