Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson played one of the finest knocks of his career against a quality Gujarat Titans bowling attack on Sunday. The wicket-keeper batter looked at his absolute best against the defending champions as he struck three fours and six sixes in his innings including a hat-trick six against World best spinner Rashid Khan.
As the Royals are going through a purple patch in the league stage, as they have four matches out of their five games, losing only one closely fought game against Punjab Kings. With the kind of batting he played against Gujarat Titans, many fans and renowned cricket expert Harsha Bhogle put a strong message for the selectors on their social media handles.
I would play Sanju Samson in the Indian T20 team every day.

Sanju Samson last played for the Indian team in the opening T20I of the three-match series against Sri Lanka. However, the wicketkeeper-batter was ruled out only after the first game owing to an unfortunate knee injury.
The Kerala wicket-keeper has scored 330 runs in 11 ODIs so far at an impressive batting average of 66 and 28 years old, and to date has featured for India in 11 ODIs and 17 T20Is for India.
The highly talented right-hand batter was not selected for the limited-over series against Australia. The absence of Samson in the ODI home series against Australia turned out to be a buzzing topic on the internet and many experts and fans wanted Samson to replace Suryakumar Yadav in the ODI team.
The Whole Team Came Up Well Today – Sanju Samson On Win Against Gujarat Titans
Sanju Samson was elated by the victory against Gujarat Titans, said that the Hardik Pandya side has been playing some quality cricket in the league, and added that their bowlers bowled brilliantly well to restrict the opponents to under 180 runs to give batters a real chance to win the game.

“When you play quality opponents on a quality wicket, you get such games. Very happy to compete in such a game and come out on top. It was important to rotate our bowlers, they were playing some quality cricket and we had to respect that. The whole team came up well today and we could restrict them to around 170. The start we had, shows how good a wicket this was. The new ball the quality of swing bowling was good and we had to respect that,” Sanju Samson said.
Rajasthan Royals came close to winning their second IPL title under Sanju Samson last year. The first-ever IPL winners made it to the final of the IPL 2022 where they suffered a defeat at the hands of Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans and they will look to go one step further in this edition of IPL to win their title after 15 long years.
