Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Vyshak Vijaykumar, who made a dream debut for Bangalore, credited Mohammed Siraj for his valuable inputs ahead of his debut game against Delhi Capitals. The Karnataka pacer bowled brilliantly well to pick up three wickets including the important wickets of David Warner and Axar Patel.
“It feels really good talking to Mohammed Siraj. He is an amazing bowler and has been doing well for RCB for quite a long time. Siraj gave me a little advice and told me there will be nerves but don’t worry about it and just believe in myself. Keep doing what you have been doing all this time and try to enjoy yourself,” Vyshak Vijaykumar said.
Vyshak Vijaykumar represents Karnataka in domestic cricket. So far, he has picked 22 wickets in 14 T20s at a fantastic economy rate of 6.92. He was the highest wicket-taker for Karnataka last season, taking 15 wickets in 8 matches at an economy rate of 6.31.
The Right arm pacer was elated to play for his home team and said that he was lucky enough to play for the team in front of a full-packed Chinnaswamy Stadium.
“As a Bangalore guy, it’s a dream to be playing for RCB and I am lucky enough to be a part of it and play the game. I was nervous for the first couple of balls but after a few overs, I felt like I deserve to be here. I feel like I am on top of the world at the moment,” Vyshak further said.
Vyshak Vijaykumar can click 140 kmph consistently and his slower balls were very difficult for the batters there have been very few players that have faced him earlier and he will be hopeful of making an impact in IPL cricket.

Vyshak Vijaykumar said that he could not control his emotions when their head coach Sanjay Bangar and their Director of Cricket Mike Hesson invited him to a meeting to reveal his debut on the previous day before his first match against Delhi Capitals.
“Sanjay Bangar Sir and Mike Hesson Sir called me for a meeting a day before the match and after asking a couple of questions they said what if we say that you are going to make your debut tomorrow, how would you feel? And that time I was speechless,” Vijaykumar added.
Royal Challengers Bangalore made a brilliant comeback after their back-to-back losses, as they secured a thumping win over Delhi Capitals, will take on Chennai Super Kings in the high-octane clash on April 17 in the famous Chinnaswamy Stadium.
