Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday unveiled their new jersey for the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 2023 Edition of the Indian Premier League will begin on March 31 between defending Champions Gujarat Giants and Chennai Super Kings.

Taking to Twitter, LSG shared a video, of the new Lucknow jersey, The kit is dark blue with red stripes on the sides: “Naya Rang, Naya Josh, Nayi Umeed, Naya Andaaz”.

Skipper KL Rahul, Ravi Bishnoi, Jaydev Undakat, Deepak Hooda, and Avesh Khan were present at the unveiling ceremony. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, owner of LSG Sanjeev Goenka, and team mentor Gautam Gambhir were present at the event

Lucknow Super Giants made their first appearance in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League IPL  and delivered an impressive show on the group stage. With nine victories and five losses in 14 games, KL Rahul and Co. played some excellent cricket to advance to the playoffs. Lucknow Super Giants will hope to maintain its momentum in IPL 2023 season

Lucknow Super Giants Began Their Preparation For IPL 2023

Lucknow Super Giants has started their practice session at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Ayush Badoni, Deepak Hooda, Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan were present in the camp. The team practiced in  Delhi under the guidance of LSG’s Mentor Gautam Gambhir.

And ahead of IPL 2023, they have also bolstered their squad by buying some new players at the IPL mini-auction they have picked up the likes of Nicolas Pooran, Jaydev Undakat, and Daniel Sams to their team

KL Rahul will look to prove a point in IPL 2023, who has lost his place in India’s playing 11 in Border Gavaskar Trophy. Ravi Bishnoi who was part of India setup will also have a point to prove in this edition of IPL. Mark Wood will return to play for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023. He missed out last edition due to an injury. LSG might benefit from his raw pace and could play an important role in their campaign.

Lucknow Super Giants will begin their 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign with a home fixture at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow against the Delhi Capitals (DC). With IPL 2023 set to follow a home-and-away format, Bharat Ratna Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium will make its debut this year.
