Delhi Capitals regular skipper Rishabh Pant came up with a witty response for his head Coach Ricky Ponting who was seen bowling some throw-downs to his son Fletcher Williams Ponting. The 25-year-old missed out on the entire edition of IPL 2023 due to a fatal car accident he suffered in December 2022.

The 25-year-old made his IPL debut for Delhi in 2016 and has been an integral part of the team since then, he was named DC skipper in the 2021 edition. The left-handed batter has close to 2500 runs in IPL including one hundred.

Lucknow Super Giants Nicholas Pooran feels that the recovery process will be very challenging and revealed that he has been in constant touch with Rishabh Pant on his recovery process to cricket. Pooran himself was hospitalized more than eight years ago after suffering a car accident. It took him six months to start walking again.
“It’s very challenging. It’s one where no one understands. Sometimes, I can remember… I have been chatting with Rishabh obviously. Both of us have a really good relationship,” Nicholas Pooran said.
