Sunrisers Hyderabad have roped in Netherlands head coach Ryan Cook as their fielding coach for the upcoming Indian Premier League Season 2023. Ryan Cook was the assistant coach for the title-winning side Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20 2023. Cook will miss the next two bilateral series for the Netherlands against Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Ryan Cook will replace Hemang Badani as the fielding coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad, as the latter is promoted to the batting coach of the franchise. Sunrisers Hyderabad has gone through a massive change in their support staff as the legendary Brian Lara replaced Tom Moody as the head coach of the franchise.
South African star batter Aiden Markram was appointed as the captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad for the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Aiden Markram led Sunrisers Eastern Cape to a title in the inaugural season of the SA20 league after beating Pretoria Capitals in the first season.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Will Look To Start Fresh Under Aiden Markram
Aiden Markram will replace Kane Williamson as the Sunrisers’ captain. Under Williamson’s leadership, SRH failed to enter the playoffs and the Hyderabad-based franchise also finished eighth last season. Sunrisers had a terrific mini auction as their picked up Mayank Agarwal, Harry Brook, and Adil Rashid to add to their lineup.
Markram will be looking to change his team’s fortunes in IPL 2023. The Hyderabad-based outfit has not managed to do well in recent seasons. In the previous two seasons, they could not make it to the playoffs and Markram would look to change the fortunes for Hyderabad.
The Hyderabad based-side will have many emerging stars in their lineup this year including Harry Brook, Umran Malik, Marco Jansen, and Washington Sundar to their side. Harry Brook will be a very important player for Sunrisers Hyderabad in that middle order which is less experienced in the league along with right-arm pacer Umran Malik enjoyed a stellar season in the Indian Premier League 2022 for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, taking 18 wickets in the competition.
