MS Dhoni was seen opening his shoulders and hammering some massive sixes at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru ahead of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) IPL 2023 match on April 17, 2023.
Chennai Super Kings are placed at the 6th spot in the Indian Premier League 2023 points table with 4 points from 2 wins in 4 matches. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore are placed at the 7th spot with the same number of points from the same number of matches but with a net run rate of negative.
RCB won their last game against DC, while CSK suffered a close defeat against RR. But apart from the loss, CSK had been suffering from injury issues.

A number of CSK players, including Ben Stokes, have been missing games due to fitness issues. However, the biggest concern for the four-time champion is the fitness of skipper MS Dhoni. After the game against Rajasthan, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming confirmed that Dhoni was nursing a knee injury, which came as a big shock for CSK fans.

However, IPL shared a video of MS Dhoni coming out to bat in the open nets sessions and is seen hammering some huge sixes ahead of the crucial RCB vs CSK tie in Bengaluru. Dhoni was struggling with his fitness in the last game against RR, but on Sunday he was looking completely fit and had a smile on his face during his batting practice.
This is great news for CSK fans because MSD had a huge experience playing at the M. Chidambaram Stadium, which can benefit the team in the game.
