Lucknow Super Giants’ young pacer Yash Thakur believes that LSG has the confidence to score big runs in the league and reckons that their team needs to play according to the different conditions. On Friday, KL Rahul-led side scored the second-highest total in IPL history to strike 257-5 at the end of 20 overs.

Lucknow Super Giants came into the match after a heartbreaking loss against the defending champions Gujarat Titans failing to chase down 30 runs in the final six overs falling short by seven runs at the end of 20 overs.

Asked to bat first, LSG batters were at their absolute best, as they took on Punjab Kings bowlers to boundaries at ease throughout the innings, as their batters did not shy away from taking on their premier bowlers Arshdeep Singh, Sam Curran and Kagiso Rabada for boundaries.

Speaking to the media on LSG’s Magnus victory against Punjab Kings, Yash Thakur feels it is important to adapt to the conditions and said that their team always had the belief of putting big totals on the board.

Yash Thakur was highly impressed with the ball for Lucknow Super Kings against PBKS as he picked up four wickets giving away just 37 runs in his 3.5 overs.

Every LSG batter chipped in with runs in the match, as Kyle Mayers, Ayush Badoni, Marcus Stoinis, and Nicholas Pooran contributed with the bat for their side with a colossal strike against Punjab Kings to post the highest total in IPL 2023.
