The match 14 of the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) two bottom-placed franchises – Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fight out against each other at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur on April 2 (Tuesday).
Both the sides are yet to register a win in their respective first three games. While Rajasthan have lost closed matches, Bangalore have looked completely out of socks. They need to revamp their playing XI to make a strong come back. Virat Kohli & Co have failed to prove their worth in any department and rightly find themselves in the eighth spot. Royal Challengers Bangalore; however, have to come out as a team and perform as a unit. The players will have to back each other during their bad times, and this team have the capability to fight back.

Besides, Virat Kohli also needs to score some runs with the bat. The consecutive three defeats have taken a toll on him, and the talismanic run-scorer needs to come out of it and lead his team from the front.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have lacked finishing abilities in this season. They have put some quality batting performances with their top-order doing a very good job. The middle-order also looks relatively settled with the presence of two big guns – Steven Smith and Ben Stokes. But Smith has looked completely out of socks, and he has struggled to get his old touch back. The former Aussie skipper will have to garner confidence and come out hard in the next game. Rajasthan Royals will only ponder over their bowling with Indian bowlers not looking in the groove. They are likely to make a change or two in their next game.
Date and Venue: April 2 (Tuesday) at 8:00 PM IST, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
Weather Forecast
The temperature will be hovering around 35 degrees Celsius leading to the game at Jaipur. However, it will decrease gradually and will stay about 28-30 degrees Celsius when the game begins. The humidity level will be very low – maximum around 18 percent making it easy for the players.
Meanwhile, there will be a significant cloud cover as the game progresses. But there are no chances of rain much to the delight of both the sides. They are yet to pocket a win in this IPL and thus one team can go home with two points in their kitty.
The weather will be dry throughout and there will be no dew much to the relief of the players. The 22-yards is also likely to remain the same so the toss won’t be a big factor on Tuesday’s game.
