In IPL, South African players have enjoyed huge success. Faf du Plessis, AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn, and Kagiso Rabada are evidence of it. But Johan Vander Wath, former South African all-rounder player, could not get constant opportunities.
Many would remember his name because he made a huge contribution to South Africa’s world record of crossing the score of 434 runs in ODI. He had also played several impactful innings for the Proteas. However, he only played three matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2011 season. After this, he didn’t get the opportunity in the league for any franchise.
