Twenty20 cricket is an unpredictable game to say the least. If one os not familiar with the sport, it will a quite difficult for see that person tp gauage how much thongs get change in space of just two 20-over innings.
T20, though, being the cricket’s shortest format, but it does brings out all the facets of cricket that keeps everyone on edge of their seats. There’s big hitting, fast bowling at its best, huge totals, and tense, close finishes.
It is why the format has become almost universally appreciated, and the biggest indicator of its popularity is the IPL. The interest in the competition seems to have been cranked up once again this year, and it’s easy to see why, with the dynamic, enterprising and downright outrageous cricket that has been played so far.
So after Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to the Bangalore Royal Challengers on Sunday, let’s take a look at those parts of T20 cricket we all love to see: Big team totals, great winning margins and narrow victories.
There have been quite a lot of one sided games this season in IPL. Teams have completely outplayed their opposition and registered huge wins to also boost their net run rate, as it may come into play at the end of the season.
The Delhi Daredevils, this season, have suffered a couple of heavy defeats already as we enter the crucial stage of the season. Daredevils have been at the receiving end of some of the biggest defeat both in terms of runs and wickets up to now but have managed to regroup and get one over their opponents.
Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, have smashed their opponents couple of times this season especially thanks to Maxwell’s amazing form.
