Till now in this IPL, SRH and DD have fought for the last place. They haven’t performed to their standards. DD won a close game against KKR but lost badly to RCB and CSK. SRH too lost two matches, a close game against RR and big loss against KXIP.
DD will be looking forward for the Captain Kevin Pietersen’s return who has recovered from injury. If he declared fit he would be playing the game if not DD have to wait for another game. In the last match Counter-Nile got injured in the first over of the match and indirectly affected the bowling resources. He is expected to miss good number of matches and this may lack DD’s death bowling.
Called as the best bowling team of this IPL, SRH hasn’t shown much fighting spirit like last season. Only positive for them will be Bhuvi was has been doing well so far. Even their batting was better than the last season with likes of Warner and Finch been included. But both along their captain Shikhar Dhawan has been failed to produce good scores.
