Chris Gayle (RCB) : The giant from Jamaica has been struggling with his batting form throughout the IPL. We were yet to see the GAYLESTORM from him in this season and unluckily the wait continues. He disappointed with his performance tonight. He looked very much uncomfortable at the crease and struggled throughout. He managed to score 14 runs off 20 deliveries when he was dismissed by Karan Sharma.
Mitchell Starc (RCB): The leading pacer from RCB did not manage to give up a standing performance today. He went for plenty in his initial overs and did not manage to give RCB the much needed breakthroughs. He gave away 31 runs in 3.4 overs and went wicketless.
Yuzvendra Chahal (RCB): The promising spinner from RCB had a bad day today. Although, he bowled well in his initial overs, yet he went for runs. He did not manage to pick up a single wicket today and went for 32 runs in his 4 overs.
HITS Of the Match
Virat Kohli (RCB): The RCB skipper has not been in his touch for the past few games. But he stood up with a fantastic performance when his side needed him the most. He geared the RCB innings with his glorious strikes and the sixes over cover region were just treat to watch. He was dismissed in the 18th over by Irfan Pathan. He scored 67 runs off 41 deliveries with 4 fours and 4 sixes.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (SRH): The master of swing for SRH did make a brilliant performance today. He bowled with perfect line and length and bowled brilliantly at the deck overs of the innings. He also took the wicket of AB De Villiers in the 19th over which was an extremely valuable one. He took 2 wickets in his 4 overs and gave 27 runs.
David Warner (SRH): The Australian power hitter was sent to open the innings for the SRH today. He did a fantastic job for his team and was involved in a century opening partnership with Shikhar Dhawan. He took the game away from RCB with his aggression and his way of running between the wickets today was simply awesome. He scored 59 runs off 46 deliveries with 3 fours and 4 sixes.
Shikhar Dhawan (SRH): The left handed Indian opener once again gave SRH an aggressive start. Today he carried on with his aggression and played a blistering knock of 50 runs off 39 deliveries with 7 fours and a six. The opening partnership between him and Warner was surely a match-winner for them.
