Former Indian cricketer — Aakash Chopra has disapproved of Wriddhiman Saha coming up the order for SRH after he couldn’t pull off many runs in the team’s loss against KKR. SunRisers Hyderabad had won the toss and decided to bat first against KKR at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on September 26. SRH had a slow start to the game. David Warner could only manage to score 36 off 30.
Manish Pandey was the highest run-getter for SRH, scoring 51 off 38 balls. The Hyderabad based-franchise could only add up a meagre score of 142 runs, which KKR chased in 18 overs and eventually won the match by seven wickets.
Wriddhiman Saha faced 30 balls for his 31-run knock, which included solitary six and a four. He had returned to the starting 11 after missing the first match of SRH in IPL 2020, which they lost to RCB.

SRH’s decision to send injury returned Wriddhiman Saha at number 4 spot, questionable: Aakash Chopra
Cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra thinks sending Saha before the likes of Priyam Garg or Abhishek Sharma was questionable because Saha had missed the first game. He also stated that why didn’t they retire Saha when he was not being able to strike big.
“Pat Cummins dismissed Bairstow and then Varun Chakravarthy dismissed Warner. Manish Pandey was playing well but they sent Saha, which was a questionable call. They should have sent Priyam Garg or Abhishek Sharma before Saha because they had played the first match.” Aakash Chopra said on his Youtube Channel.

“Saha kept on trying, I love him to bits, but he was not able to strike it big. In such a case, why not retire out a batsman, why is there a stigma attached to it, even when a bowler is not doing well he is not given his full quota. I know that your intentions are good but you are not able to get going.”
SRH’s team looking weak without Kane Williamson: Aakash Chopra
Chopra feels the SRH batting order is weak down the line with all youngsters in the middle order. He has stated that SRH need to find a way to include Kane Williamson in the team because they look weak without him.
“The problem with Sunrisers Hyderabad is that they have Bairstow, Warner and Pandey as the top three but at No.4 you can have Vijay Shankar, Saha, Priyam Garg or Virat Singh and then after that Abhishek Sharma or Abdul Samad, they are all kids,” Chopra added.

“They have to find a way to get Kane Williamson into the scheme of things because the team is looking very weak without him. They do not have any strength in their batting and because of that they will make 140 only and not 180, thereby not making the contest safe,” Aakash Chopra concluded.
SRH lost their second IPL 2020 match against KKR by 7 wickets. They will next face Delhi Capitals on September 29 at Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium
