IPL Auction 2017: Five Afghanistan Players Are Up For Auction! 1

Afghanistan players are set to create history in the upcoming IPL auction as five players will go under the hammer on February 20, in Bangalore. The players that are set to feature in the auction are Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Dawlat Zadran, Mohammad Shahzad and Najeeb Zadran.

Mohammad Shahzad will be the biggest attraction of these five players as the aggressive batsman of Afghanistan team has already caught attention by imitating MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot. Also, he is one of the aggressive players who has raised the level of Afghanistan cricket in past few years. He was the fifth highest run scorer in the Bangladesh Premier league as he scored 350 runs at an average of 38.88 with a strike rate of 110.06. He also cleared the ropes a total of 11 times.

There are a total of 76 spots to be filled in the IPL auction and there are a total of 700 players who have registered their names in the auction. The teams can have a maximum of 27 players on the roster which also includes 9 overseas players. Franchises are allowed to buy only 76 players at the auction including 28 overseas players.
