Ravindra Jadeja

It’s a surprise that the senior all-rounder has never led a team in senior cricket but going ahead, there could be a case when Jadeja might lead CSK. The 30-year-old is a key player for the team and is likely to be retained by the franchise when the teams will go into mega auction next year.
With seniors like Dhoni and Shane Watson set to retire after next year’s IPL, Jadeja will be one of the senior players in the team and also a candidate for the captaincy position. In 170 IPL matches so far, he has scored 1927 runs and scalped 108 wickets. Jadeja had joined CSK way back in 2012 for a record price of Rs 9.8 Crore.
