Deepak Chahar –

The right-arm pacer has been playing domestic players since 2010 and is one of the senior players in the side. He is just 27 and also had age on his side. Surely, CSK will consider him for the leadership job.
In past, bowlers like Anil Kumble and Daniel Vettori have led their natiional teams and IPL franchises as well. Hence, if Chahar is chosen as Dhoni’s successor, the decision should not come as a surprise. In 34 IPL matches, he has 33 wickets. Apart from CSK, he also played under Dhoni at Rising Pune Supergiant and was a part of Rajasthan Royals before that.
