Former Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) skipper David Warner wished luck to his team ahead of their season opener against resurrected Rajasthan Royals (RR), in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Meanwhile, Warner will miss the ongoing eleventh edition of the Twenty20 professional domestic league after Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) barred him to play, in the wake of the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.
Cricket Australia (CA) also sanctioned the southpaw while banning him for 12 months. Moreover, he won’t be able to lead any Australia time forever.
However, Hyderabad received a massive blow as Warner played a crucial role at the top. Although they replaced him with England’s aggressive batsman Alex Hales, certainly they will miss the hard-hitter.
SRH has built a strong squad going into this edition and has roped quite a few talented cricketers. They also named New Zealand’s Kane Williamson as the skipper of the side in place of Warner.
They have a balanced side with cricketers possessing the leadership abilities in all the department. Meanwhile, they will look to start the tournament on a high in front of their home crowd.
Meanwhile, ahead of SRH’s first game, Warner took to Twitter to wish his former team. He wished luck to all his friends way back from Australia.

“Good luck to my friends @SunRisers play well tonight,” Warner tweeted.
The swashbuckling opener David Warner is one of the top run-getters in the renowned league. He scored 4,014 runs from 114 matches and went on to smash three tons.
The 31-year-old Warner also led SRH to a successful campaign in 2016.
