Rajasthan posted a mammoth score of 217 for four in front of RCB. However, on the back of incredible hitting exhibition from Samson, who scored unbeaten 92 off just 45.

Samson deposited ten balls into the stands during his knock which came at a strike rate of 202.

The run chase was brought into interest by the effort from captain Virat Kohli, who looked a class apart for his 57 which came off just 30 deliveries.

Feel very grateful to play this tournament every two months of the year. Playing an innings like this is a dream come true and against the likes of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli,” Samson stated during the post-match presentation.

I’m feeling good, hitting the ball well. Would like to keep up the form and win as many matches as I can. Whatever my team wants me to do, I’ll do it – whether it’s fielding or keeping,” Sanju Samson concluded.
