Yuzvendra Chahal – Being purchased by Royal Challengers Bangalore was a boon for Chahal as he was with Mumbai Indians from the year 2011 but got just one game. He was a sidelined cricketer in that camp but the moment RCB acquired him in IPL auction 2014 for his base price of 10 Lakh, Chahal’s life changed and he also got a national call-up withing two years of playing for this team.
He has developed himself into one of the best leg-spinners in the country in the shortest format of the game, a glimpse of which we saw in the third and final T20I against England where he bowled a spell of 4-0-25-6, which is the best bowling figures by an Indian bowler.
RCB management would again eye Chahal in the next auction if he suits their pocket, as once a 10 Lakh commodity till three years back, is set to draw Crores in next auction.
