Shikhar Dhawan – Gabbar With The Bat

There have been several principles taking place for Sunrisers Hyderabad as a side, but they relied heavily on the opening stand which was further equally supported by stroke-maker Dhawan with the bat while scoring the bulk of runs for the top-notch side.
As the left-and-right hand combination has been an ideal choice for different teams to rely on, Sunrisers side has had something different on an offer — to rely on their two experienced campaigners as they opted to start with left-to-left combination at the top which further has proved worth for the side in general while yielding the desired results.
Having the capability to score big and stay longer at the crease, Dhawan has been a game changer and different franchises would be eyeing to avail his services – to add value to their respective squads.
Following the major performance in the last edition, Dhawan scored 479 runs in 14 matches at an average of 36.84 which included three half-centuries in this season.
Being a crowd favourite for moustache show and the unforgettable look, Dhawan has played 127 matches since 2008.
He scored 3,561 runs at an average of 32.66 while having 28 fifties to his name.
The Delhi-born Dhawan has also taken 52 catches while having his overall best of unbeaten 95 which came in 2011 against Kings XI Punjab at Dharamsala when he was playing for Deccan Chargers.
