Rashid Khan – Basking The Glory; Rush It On

It’s never been an easy job for rookies to come in the widely acclaimed tournament to leave an overall impact, but coming from a war-torn country Rashid Khan has given a superlative performance to deceive quality batsmen in the IPL.
The 18-year-old leg-spinner Rashid, the man of different calibre, has played a significant role for his side in his maiden IPL stint with the ball whenever David Warner threw a white ball at him.
The best thing in this season has been his line and length and making a comeback after leaking runs which further suggests, Rashid is the quick learner of the game after fetching INR 4 crore deal in the IPL Players’ Auction 2017.
While rolling over his golden arm, Rashid has bagged 17 wickets with an impressive economy rate of 6.62.
The Nangarhar-born Rashid, who has become an inspiration for many back in Afghanistan, was equally excellent in the field while taking five catches which further is topped with his excellent one-handed run out attempt on his follow-through to send back Rahul Tripathi in the group stage game.
He has been a revelation and is highly likely going to become superman of Afghanistan cricket. Sunrisers would be relying on him with the slow bowling in the 2018 edition.
Thus, Rashid becomes a hot-favourite contender to retain his place in the Hyderabad side.
