Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli, who has started practice session in Dubai, has urged every IPL participants to understand the importance of a bio-secure bubble to make the T20 league possible amid the coronavirus.
It is understood that Kohli’s statement is the reaction to the 13 personnel, including two players, being tested positive of the coronavirus in the CSK camp. The spread of the virus in the yellow army camp has threatened the hosting of the league. Till now, the schedule of the league has also not been announced although the IPL 2020 is set to begin from 19th September.

While talking to on RCB’s Youtube show ‘Bold Diaries’, the aggressive batsman said that everyone needs to acknowledge that they are privileged to get the league amid the prevailing situation.
“We are all here to play cricket…The bio-bubble needs to be respected at all times for the tournament to happen eventually. We are not here to have fun and roam around and you know say that ‘I want to hang out in Dubai’,” Kohli said.
“That is not the time we are living in. Accept the phase that we are going through and understand the privilege that we have, just to be a part of the IPL. Everyone should accept that and not behave in a manner which situation doesn’t require them to,” he said.
Virat Kohli on no crowd in IPL 2020:

As the league will be played behind closed doors, Virat Kohli, for whom spectators are a motivation does, has said that he would gradually adapt to the new norm.
“I would not say it won’t be difficult, strange. The echo of the bat hitting the ball, I haven’t experienced it for the last 10 years. The Ranji Trophy was the last time But we have done this at some stage of our lives,”
“The crowd factor will definitely play a part but the instincts will kick in and it will diminish quite quickly,” Virat Kohli concluded.
Meanwhile, RCB captain Virat Kohli will be expecting to lead the franchise to lift the maiden IPL trophy.
