Delhi Capitals (earlier known as Delhi Daredevils) is the only existing team that has not played a final in the IPL history. Last year, they qualified for the IPL playoffs after seven years. They won their first playoffs match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad by two wickets. However, they lost the next match against the Chennai Super Kings by six wickets and ended up as second runners up in the playoffs.
Delhi franchise has won 76 of 177 matches in the IPL, during which 5 times the team has won the matches in less than 15 overs. Perhaps, there are high expectations from the Shreyas Iyer-led DC to win the title in the future.
