Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli is sweating hard in the practice sessions — to prepare himself for the upcoming IPL tournament. After rigorous training, he took an ice water bath to relax his body as he shared pictures of the same on his recent Twitter post.

After a five-month-long break, Kohli and other Indian players have got back into the field for the proper training with their IPL franchise. All the eight IPL teams after following the quarantine period have started the practice sessions but in batches to lessen the gathering.

He can be seen in net, playing football with teammates as a warm-up and cooling himself down with an ice bath. He captioned the pictures, “Proper session + proper humidity + great recovery = laughing emoji”

All the RCB players, expect England and Australia contingent, are attending the training camp ahead of the tournament set to start from 19th September.

Last week, the franchise has bought Adam Zampa in replacement to Kane Richardson who will miss the whole season. The spinner Zampa, along with Aaron Finch, will land in the UAE after playing the ODI and T20I series against England. They are expected to join the team on 17th September. England cricketer Moeen Ali will also join the RCB camp on the same date.

The pressure will be on RCB to lift the trophy this year after ending at bottom in the past three editions. The last time the Royals reached the grand finale of the tournament was in 2016. With a massive batting line up, they deserve to win the most popular tournament. However, they have been unfortunate in the marquee clash.

With the admission of new coaches Mike Hesson and Simon Katich, Virat Kohli would like to win the trophy this year.
