Having had enough of all the criticism emerging out from ex-Indian cricketer and current TV commentator Sanjay Manjrekar, fiery Trinidadian and Mumbai Indians all-rounder slammed him in a tweet some time back. Manjrekar, who has a reputation of being way too blunt with sportspersons, came under the wrath of Pollard barely an hour after the Mumbai Indians completed a thriller of a run chase against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Mumbai.
In his Tweet, an annoyed Pollard slammed Manjrekar for his comments on the former and mentioned that he was being paid for his job. In the tweet, Pollard mentioned, “@sanjaymanjrekar u feel any positive can come out of your mouth bcuz u get pay to talk u can continue with your verbal diarrhoea.”
During Mumbai’s spirited run chase against the Knight Riders, Manjrekar on air took digs at the team while they kept on losing wickets. The outspoken former Indian batsman apparently called Pollard as “Brainless”, which really ruffled the feathers of the brawny all rounder.
Pollard in another tweet mentioned that as well as he wrote, “Do you know how I get big so.. about BRAINLESS.. words are very powerful .. once it leaves u can’t take it back.. sins of parents fall on…”
Manjrekar in the past has been slammed by several sports personnel for his over the top and high handled views. Indian tennis star Sania Mirza too had a go at Manjrekar not so long ago when the latter questioned her achievements.
Pollard after his outburst, however, went on to laud the Mumbai Indians youngsters for a spirited performance.
@sanjaymanjrekar u feel any positive can come out of your mouth bcuz u get pay to talk u can continue with your verbal diarrhea ..
