If there’s one thing you have to know about Kings XI Punjab, it’s Preity Zinta. She’s been associated with the team ever since the conception of the Indian Premier League franchise in 2008. However, she may be suggesting that she may return to show biz as per latest reports.
Preity Zinta said in a recent interview that the Indian Premier League franchise does not need her anymore.
She has been more successful than most other owners of IPL franchises. Preity has been a very active part of every policy decision to go down in the Kings XI team. She’s been very involved in player auctions too.
According to Preity, she had taken up the Indian Premier League franchise as a break from show business, as she did not feel the Bollywood industry was going anywhere.
Reports indicate that she is now looking towards being a judge on the panel of a popular reality show based on dance, known as Nach Baliye.
She feels that the Kings XI franchise has settled down as a business endeavor and no longer needs her constant support. She feels that this would be an appropriate time to explore other avenues.
If she decides to leave, she will surely be missed.
