It’s Fine to Have Match-Fixing Case in Biopic: Mohammad Azharuddin
Mohammad Azharuddin the ex Indian skipper has got his own biopic starring Emraan Hashmi. Azharuddin said that he does not have any problem with the events of his life shown in the film.
The movie Azhar directed by Tony D’Souza will show the world a peek into the personal life of the controversial star Azharuddin. It will show the match fixing incident that took place and also his marriage and Azharuddin who was asked if he was okay being shown that way, said that he does not have a problem with what the movie will show.
Azharuddin said that he has already read the script of the film and that he gave the director his own insights before shooting the film and that he does not have a problem with anything shown in the movie. The director said that the movie will show three stages of his life starting with his Khuda, then the marriage and then the controversial match fixing incident.
Azharuddin who was one of the most successful Indian captains had to cut short his career after being banned for life by the BCCI on match fixing allegations and Azharuddin said that he could not explain his situation and that the movie will make everyone understand him properly.
Azharuddin also said that he is great fan of Emraan Hasmi added that this is a great chance for him to show his acting skills and that he his happy with the role being given to his favourite movie star.
The Movie Azhar is set to hit the theatres on the 13th of May next year.
