James Pattinson to Change His Bowling Action For A Prolonged Career
The Aussie speedster, James Pattinson is recovering fast from a stress fracture in his back. But he seems to be in no hurry to join the national squad as he is now in preparation with his new bowling action which might be career saving to him. It is also being reported that Pattinson is quite happy to gain back the pace in his bowling and also to test fitness level in grade cricket in Australia and then the Victorian Sheffield Shield team. He is now not worrying about his national duties.
Pattinson suffered from a stress fracture in his back earlier this year and he is recovering from it. He hopes that a modified bowling action will overcome many injury related problems for him and also he can play at the international level for over a decade.
The 24-year old paceman, who has already impressed the cricket world with his bowling, has been in a long rehabilitation and training program and he has just returned with a light bowling action change so that it grow as a second nature to him and also he has started his preparations for the Sheffield Shield.
James Pattinson also stated about the fact that there is no rush for getting into the national squad as the Aussies have a packed up cricket schedule till the next year and he can make his comeback for sure. Even he feels that there is no point of including him in the national squad at present as he has not been on field for a span of 5 months. He said that he is presently focussing to get back his line and length in his bowling with the new bowling action.
Pattinson also claimed that he tried to change his bowling action by a bit in last year when he got hurt to do so. He is shaping himself perfectly so that he can be Australia’s trump card in the World Cup to follow and also so that he can have prolonged career.
