Ahead of the three-match home Test series against South Africa, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out from this Test series. However, spirited Bumrah is aiming to return to the national team strongly.
In a very quick time, the right-arm pacer Jasprit Bumrah has evolved himself as one of the crucial pacer of the Indian national cricket team. He is dominating in every format and every country. Most of the top-class batsmen have found a tough job to handle this Indian pacer. The world cricket is praising this young man.
Jasprit Bumrah made his international cricket debut in January 2016. While he made ODI and T20I debuts in that same month, he made Test debut two years later (January 2018). With the time progress, Bumrah has grown up as a top consistent bowler. With the unorthodox bowling action, Bumrah has developed an impressive line and length and top yorker bowling skills.
Bumrah has already played 12 Tests, 58 ODIs and 42 T20Is where he has picked up 62, 103 and 51 wickets respectively. At present, Bumrah is the no.3-ranked Test bowler and no.1-ranked ODI bowler.
Recently, Bumrah received some rests from the limited-overs series. In the recently concluded three-match home T20I series against South Africa, he got full rest. He was in the Test squad for the upcoming three-match home Test series against South Africa.
While the Test series will begin on 2nd October, Bumrah has been ruled out from the Test series due to a minor stress fracture in his lower back. Umesh Yadav will join the Test squad as a replacement of Bumrah.

However, the 25-year-old Jasprit Bumrah is not getting down due to the recent miss-out. Rather than, he is aiming for a strong comeback.

In the last USA and West Indies tour in August-September 2019, Bumrah got full rest from the limited-overs series but featured in the Test series. The right-arm pacer totally dominated in that two-match Test series. Managing two five-wicket hauls, Bumrah finished that series as a leading wicket-taker with 13 wickets. In the second Test match, Bumrah managed a brilliant hat-trick.
