India’s pace trio Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma had enjoyed remarkable success in Australia’s 2018-19 tour. As a result, India first-time won the Test series on Australian soil. Now this year from November 27, both the team are again ready to combat each other in the white-ball as well red-ball series. Justin Langer, Australia’s head coach, is wary of India’s bowling attack but has admitted that his team’s batsman are now familiar with their tactics.
In a virtual media conference facilitated by Sony, Justin Langer said that he has great respect for India’s formidable bowling lineup but added that they are well known for their strategy thanks to the Indian Premier League (IPL) and close competitions. The league has enabled the players from worldwide to play together for the same team which has also exposed the tactics of players.
“Well, we know Jasprit Bumrah, world-class bowler, (Mohammed) Shami, really good opening combination. We have great respect for that and guys have seen a fair bit of them, through the IPL and the last couple of summers,” Langer said.

But Justin Langer is excited for the competition because the teams are evenly-matches. He likes the competitive series and challenges offered, so he looking up for the coming ODI series.
“We have played 14 ODIs against India in the last few years and it’s seven all,” he added.
“…our guys have seen a lot of each other and that’s what I love about the contest, you see which teams are growing which players are growing. We have played a bit against each other now.
Justin Langer has belief in his batsmen:

Acknowledging that India’s bowlers will put the best on the table, Langer doesn’t score his team’s batsman anywhere low.
“So, we have great respect, great respect for their spinners. great respect for Bumrah, Shami, their other bowlers (Navdeep Saini).
” Our guys know they are going to be on their toes all the time in all forms of the game against the Indian bowling attack. But they are working hard, they have seen a bit now and they will be ready for it,” the 50-year-old asserted.
The three-match ODI and T20I series will proceed marquee Test series, which will begin on December 17.
