Kamaal Rashid Khan Berates ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ Without Having Glimpse Of The Flick

Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK), the self-proclaimed film critic, seems to have achieved a whole new level of mastery in the art of judging the worth of movies.
Kamal, a.k.a. KRK has been a vocal critic who likes talking no holds barred on his preferred medium of communication – Twitter.
His views constantly make up for headlines and controversies. According to him, he reviews movies; but in reality, most of his so-called opinions are nothing but nonsensical attempts to garner attention.
His most recent antic speaks for his nature.
Sachin: A Billion Dreams, the biographical movie based on the life and journey of Sachin Tendulkar, is set to release on 26th May. Ahead of the release, the star cricketer held a special screening of the movie for some of his close friends, a bunch of Bollywood stars and the entire Indian Cricket team. The reviews were quite overwhelming and everyone seemed inspired.
KRK, however, felt the need to give his own opinion about the movie – without even watching it. Writing on Twitter, he said that the movie was highly unattractive to him, as it just happens to be a documentary with a cluster of real life videos of Sachin’s life.
Well, a film is a film and not everyone may have positive thoughts about it. Sachin: A Billion Dreams will also seem unimpressive to many cinema lovers which is an absolutely general outcome.
But, is it even possible to rate a movie without watching it? KRK did that.
The failed actor looked unimpressed by the trivia which has been out in open since the movie was decided to me made. That trivia alone seemed enough for him to judge and demean the work put up together by the likes of Emmy-nominated James Erskine and Oscar-winning AR Rahman among others.
So #SachinABillionDreams is made by all old available videos of Sachin, means it’s a real documentary of him. Sorry I can’t Jhelo it at all.

Twitter, at large, chose to ignore the tweet, but a few still could not control and gave him some bitter reaction (and a couple of expletives as well).

While KRK may have rubbished the movie, the members of the Indian Cricket team, feel that the movie is set to be blockbuster. The cricketers, in particular, were awed by the unseen bits of Sachin’s life and cricketing journey.
