Lanky Australian cricketer Kane Richardson, who was bought back in the IPL 2020 Auction by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), is currently in India to partake in the ongoing three-match ODI series against the Men in Blue. The pacer last featured with Virat Kohli-led RCB in 2016 when the franchise first time reached in the final rounds. The Aussie pacer is excited and looking forward to playing under Kohli’s leadership in IPL.

Both Richardson and Kohli are vegan (who avoid animal products). So, the speedster, while talking to EspnCricinfo, expressed that he is eager to share some vegan food with Indian skipper during IPL as they share the same type of diet. Richardson also said the Indian skipper texted him after the culmination of the auction and welcomed him back at RCB’s den.

“Virat always gives out tips about where to go or even passes some food for breakfast. He actually did send me a message when I got picked in the auction. He said welcome back and make sure the superfoods are ready, and I said that I’m looking forward to break time already,” said Richardson.
