The fans are looking set to witness two of India’s all-time cricketing greats in an all-new avatar.
According to new reports, legendary duo of Virender Sehwag and Kapil Dev are ready to appear on a television comedy show.
As per the recent reports in the Catch News, both Sehwag and Kapil have signed up for the new proposed comedy show. The show will also feature famous television personalities like Shilpa Shinde and Sunil Grover.

Meanwhile, Sehwag will have his sight firmly on the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The batting stalwart is the mentor of Kings XI Punjab and will be eyeing a good season after securing the services of some big players in this year’s auction.
The likes of Ravichandran Ashwin, KL Rahul, Aaron Finch and Chris Gayle will play for the franchise this year.
In an interview last month, Sehwag had said he was bullish on the team’s chances to win its maiden trophy this season.
“The kind of team we have this year, we can win the championship. We have spent a lot of money on some of the players, so hopefully, they will do the job. This surely is the best KXIP team in the last ten years,” he had said.
“Last few years, our Indian players were not that good except Wriddhiman Saha and Axar Patel. That was one gap. If you want to win the IPL, you have to have good Indian players. We have four to five of them this time.
“We were also struggling with Indian batting line-up which could hold the innings together. Guys like Rahul, Nair and Manoj Tiwary can hold the middle order. The we have explosive openers in Gayle and Finch, and down the order, we have David Miller. Hopefully, they will do well against spinners,” he had added.
