Former Indian skipper Kapil Dev has suggested BCCI buy their aeroplane to reduce fatigue of players. The idea has come a day after Ravi Shastri asked the board to give Indian players some break. Indian team has a busy schedule over next one and a half year.

This innovative idea from Dev is surely a wise one as players always complain about being tired during the long journeys and having an own vehicle will not just provide the player’s door to door service but will also save time, which will eventually lead to a reduction in fatigue.
Looking at the current financial status of BCCI, getting a personal plane for the team is not at all difficult for the board. There has been a sudden gain in BCCI after the IPL media rights auction, which has made the board further rich and BCCI has the pocket to buy players an airplane.

Should this happen, the Indian cricket team will become the first team to get their plane, so as the BCCI. Now it will be interesting to see whether the board looks up to the advice of Kapil Dev as logically, it’s advice which will surely help the players but does BCCI has enough powers to do the same? This will be an interesting point in the story.
The Indian cricket team is set to face Australia in a limited overs series comprising of eight games. The series will kick off with an ODI in Chennai on September 17.
