Former England batting superstar Kevin Pietersen is currently facing a minor glitch with his visa formalities. As mentioned in a tweet by him, the 36-year-old seems to be stuck in India at the moment after his application for a multiple entry visas was rejected.

He currently in India with a single entry visa which means that he cannot visit the country after leaving and has to reapply for the visa once again. A single entry visa also means he has to leave the country before it becomes void.

Therefore, KP, who is on a work assignment with the BCCI for the Indian Premier League, seems to be really worried about this scenario. This prompted him to call out his Tweeples for some assistance. He made sure that his tweet made an impact and tagged the Indian High Commission in London.

“HELP ME! I applied for a multiple entry visa into India & the @HCI_London gave me a single entry. I cannot return on a single! #HELP,??” Pietersen tweeted on Wednesday afternoon (April 12).

Ironically Sam Billing, Fellow Englishman, also reported the same problem.

Help quickly poured in for him as people began replying him with alternatives and quick solutions. One user even went on to suggested reporting the problem to Sushma Swaraj, the Minister of External Affairs of India.

“I would suggest sending a tweet to @SushmaSwaraj mam, she’s really nice when it comes to these kinds of problems. I’m sure she’ll help you,” a twitter user wrote.

Pietersen is the part of the commentary team of the IPL 10 and is in the country from April 5th. Recently, he was also involved in a funny banter with Kevin Pietersen.

Yuvi and KP share an amusing bond with each other which dates back to the years when the duo played for the opposite sides at the international level. Yuvraj was famously called the ‘pie-chucker’ by KP after the latter became a sort of bunny, constantly losing his wicket to Yuvraj.

But, IPL means bonding time and Yuvi could not stop himself from appreciating KP new pair of bright yellow socks.

KP also snapped back a quick reply, tweeting: “Love You! Not your bowling.”
