Kevin Pietersen signs contract  in South African T20 tournament 

England discarded Kevin Pietersen is going back to his home country South Africa as he has signed a contract with Sunfoil Dolphins, the South African Ram Slam T20 competition. 

“I look forward to playing good, winning cricket,” said Pietersen. “Every time I come back to South Africa it feels like a homecoming.”

The 35 year old, was sacked after the 5-0 Ashes defeat by Australia in the 2013-2014 Ashes series Down Under. Since Andrew Strauss became the Director of Cricket at ECB Pietersen was told in May that he would not consider for England comeback anymore. The hard hitting right handed batsman had played in Indian Premier league for different franchises- Royal Challengers Bangalore, Deccan Chargers, Delhi Daredevils and Sunriser Hyderabad-in different season.

The South Africa born cricketer also played for English county sides Hampshire, Nottinghamshire and Surrey. Earlier, he has a contract with the Dolphins. Pietersen has 8181 Test runs with 23 hundred 35 fifty with an average of 47.28. Pietersen also played 136 One Day International for England in which he scored 4440 with an average of 40.73
