Kevin Pietersen trolls ECB on twitter after England snub for World T20

Kevin Pietersen, to nobody’s surprise, in all honesty, is not going to be on the plane to India. Or in March at least, as England’s most celebrated cricketer was snubbed from England’s T20 squad, when the general opinion was that a young, energetic side would have gained from his experience.
While his own omission was no surprise to him, the 35-year old swashbuckling batsman took to Twitter to have a laugh about the omission of his Melbourne Stars teammate Luke Wright from the traveling party to India.
Pietersen pointed to James Vince’s selection ahead of his former England teammate, insinuating that the English Cricket Board had made a laughable error in judgement.
Pietersen tweeted “Vince and not Luke Wright in England’s T20 squad,” followed by several emoticons conveying his amusement at the decision.
When a fan asked him about what he thought about being ignored for selection yet again, the new Pune Supergiants man came up with a sarcastic reply: “I told the ECB I needed a break in March. Big Bash, PSL, a break in March then IPL. They understood!”
Pietersen then went on to tweet a picture of him enjoying a burger and fries for breakfast, seeming well at ease with the decision.
Here is the tweet:
