Talking about Sunrisers Hyderabad’s campaign so far, it has not been much impressive. In their first game of the season, they ended up suffering a 72-run loss at the hands of Rajasthan Royals. It was followed by a 5-wicket defeat against Lucknow Super Giants.
Sunrisers Hyderabad finally managed to deliver a match-winning performance in their third game of the season when they were up against Punjab Kings. The bowlers restricted Punjab Kings to 143 for 9 before Rahul Tripathi’s unbeaten 74-run knock guided them to an impressive 8-wicket victory.
In the points table, Kolkata Knight Riders are at the third spot behind table-toppers Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, are languishing at the ninth spot in the 10-team competition.
