The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been always open and firm when it came to taking a stand for his wife Anushka Sharma. During the India Today show ‘Inspiration’, skipper Kohli opened up about his cricket life and personal life.
The aggressive batsman has never shied away from expressing his love and support for his beloved wife and Bollywood actress. The change in his overall personality ever since he debuted in the international cricket with Anushka entering in his life is amazing. He went from being the hot-headed batsman to a calmer and keen-eyed skipper of the team.

While speaking to India Today, Kohli opened up about his personal life where he talked about his wife Anushka Sharma. Even though he had often expressed his happiness of her being in his life, his comment on the trolls after India lost to Australia in the World Cup semi-final in 2015 stole many girls’ hearts.
He slammed the people trolling his then-girlfriend Anushka Sharma with his post on his social media handle.
However, the two overcame all the critics then and still they keep fighting from the troll-bugs. The right-hander tied knots with his beloved secretly in Italy by the end of 2017. Now the pair is celebrated as one of the favourites among both the cricket and Bollywood fans.
The 31-years-old cricketer told in the interview that his wife Anushka does not like replying to the trolls. Meanwhile, he also opened up about the troll Farukh Engineer’s comments on his wife.
During the show, Kohli revealed his favourite movie from the bucket of Anushka’s Bollywood career. He has disclosed ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is his dearest movie and the scene where Alizeh’s (Anushka) cancer is revealed and Ranbir returns, is the one he likes to watch on Youtube.
“Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, hands down. That character for me is my most favorite ever. I mean I still tell her often even now. Sometimes I sit down and open Youtube and watch that sequence of when she has cancer and the whole thing where Ranbir (Kapoor) comes back…. that song is etched in my heart. It is never gonna be going anywhere,” said Kohli.
