Former Indian Premier League chairman Lalit Modi has taken his twitter to slam current BCCI president Anurag Thakur and current IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla in the aftermath of the cricket board’s hearing at the Supreme Court on Thursday afternoon.
The 50-year old was banned by the BCCI in 2013 after he was allegedly found guilty of irregularities, misconduct and siphoning off money. He has taken hit on his former BCCI colleagues as he named Thakur as a ‘fixer’ and Shukla as ‘Dalal’ (Broker).
Modi who has been the IPL chairman till 2010 before getting life ban from BCCI has made comparison between former BCCI president N Srinivasan and Anurag Thakur and has said the time has come for the punishment.
He wrote: “Just like #Srinivasan – @ianuragthakur the noose needed around your neck is about to be executed. U are the original fixer as I have said.”

However, the 50-year old has not stopped there as he made a series of tweets throughout the day as he questioned after the BCCI tweeted out the resume of their president on Thursday.

He also confirmed that he put forward a resolution in the board regarding the disbursing of money to state associations after verification which was turned down by Anurag Thakur earlier as he felt that it could effect the vote bank.
4/3 but the #powers that be – said this is not good as we will lose the #vote #bank. So in other words – it was buying #loyalty – ???@Bcci pic.twitter.com/EBdmZDJwME
