In the latest ICC T-20 batsmen rankings announced Virat Kohli has replaced Australia Aaron Finch. Virat Kohli became the number 1 ranked batsmen in T-20 internationals. Virat Kohli has 861 points. It is great news for the Indian Test captain who won the Sri Lankan Test series after 22 years.

In the second place, Australia Aaron Finch is there with 854 points just 7 points behind Kohli. The third place is occupied by Alex Hales who is on 841 points. Alex Hales did not contribute much in the game against Australia in the T-20.

In the fourth place, South Africa captain Faf Du Plessis. Faf Du Plessis did not have a great T-20 series against NewZeleand. The fifth place goes to the West Indies hard hitter Chris Gayle. Chris Gayle is a rockstar in T-20 format but has not played much T-20 due to injury.

The sixth place is occupied by Brendon McCollum. Brendon McCullum is also another hard hitter who has played some excellent cricket in the past few months. The 7th place goes to Kushal Perera of Sri Lanka who is another hard hitter which can destroy any bowling attack on his day.

The 8th place goes to England captain Eoin Morgan who has played some aggressive cricket in the past few months but did not perform well in a match against Australia. The 9th place is occupied by New Zealand opener Martin Guptill who did not have a great series against South Africa. The last place is occupied by Australia opener David Warner.    

While in the bowling rankings only two players are from Australia and New Zealand. The rest of bowlers are from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and West Indies. India’s Ashwin is in 3rd place.
