Latest ICC Test bowlers rankings – Yasir Shah breaks in to top 10
In the latest ICC Test bowling rankings, Pakistan leg spinner has entered the top 10 bowling rankings for the first time after successful two Test matches in Sri Lanka. It has been a excellent performance by the Pakistan leg spinner who is the fastest Asian to take 50 wickets.
The first place is occupied by top ranked bowler Dale Styen with 905 points. With Dale Styen playing taking a rest from bangladesh tour it will be an interesting battle for the top spot once the Ashes commences. The second ranked bowler is England’s fast bowler James Anderson. With the Ashes coming up in next 8 days he will be looking to shine in the series.
The third place goes to NewZeleand fast bowler Trent Boult. He had a great Test series against England recently. The fourth place is occupied by Ryan Harris who will play a key role for Australia in the Ashes. The 5th ranked bowler in the Test bowling rankings is Mitchell Johnson.
The 6th ranked bowler in the rankings is Stuart Broad who again has a key role to play in Ashes for England. The next spot belongs to Vernon Philander who is an excellent Test bowler.
The 8th place bowler in the rankings is Rangana Herath who had a poor series so far against Pakistan. In the 9th place Yasir Shah who has done an excellent job in 2 Test matches against Sri Lanka. The 10th place again belongs to a South African pace bowler Morne Morkel. In this rankings we see only 2 spinners only and the rest of bowlers are pace bowlers which shows that Test matches are being dominated by pace bowlers at the present moment.
