Laureus Sport for Good Announces Yuvraj Singh as Ambassador

Yuvraj Singh was one of the most marketable celebrities in India and had a massive influence on his fans with his heroics on and off the field.
His foundation YouWeCan contributes massively towards the treatment of cancer patients. Since his return from cancer, he had contributed immensely towards the society, helping the children and people in need.
His giving nature has made him the first brand ambassador to endorse Laureus Sports for a good Initiative.
Mercedes-Benz aims to benefit the society by using the power of sports and help the needy and underprivileged children in India. Mercedes-Benz India will fund development program of two NGO’s – Naz Foundation and Slum Soccer.
Mercedes-Benz will continue to fund the already existing Laureus supported partners Oscar Foundation and YUWA. Laureus Sports for Good has strengthened their association with India making Yuvraj Singh as their Laureus ambassador. The global organisation supports more than 100 programs in 35 countries.
On becoming the brand ambassador, Yuvraj Singh said,
“It’s an honour for me to join the Laureus Family here in India and to see first-hand the great work being done to help young people overcome challenges in their lives. I’m a firm believer in the power of sport and its incredible ability to change lives, it changed mine, and I’m looking forward to helping Laureus in their goal to improve much more in the future.”
MD and CEO Mercedes-Benz India Roland Folger took pride in the association and said,

Global director at Laureus Sport for Good Andy Griffiths also added,
