- Sachin Tendulkar (Seven Hundreds)

Termed by many as the greatest batsman ever lived, Sachin was the most prolific run-scorer for India in history with a plethora of runs under his belt across both, Tests and One Day format. Brushing aside his records as a batsman, he was not a best of the skippers India had in past.
In the 25 Test matches as a captain, the batting maestro scored seven centuries in 43 innings, fourth highest by an Indian skipper in history. He as a leader hardly impressed his critics as India won only four matches and lost nine.
