Pakistan Super League T20 players draft has started. Total five teams –Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad and will play the tournament in UAE. In the platinum round (1st round) Peshawar  picks Shahid Afridi and Kevin Pietersen is bought by Quetta, Shoaib Malik to Karachi, and Australian allrounder Shane Watson has gone Islamabad.

In the second platinum round, Pakistan wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahamed picked up by Quetta Gladiators. West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell has gone to Islamabad. Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to Karachi while Chris Gayle and Dwyane Bravo are grabbed by Lahore. Pakistan Test captain Misbah Ul Haq has gone to Islamabad. He will be the captain of the franchise. Umar Akmal has been drafted by Lahore. In the platinum round, three fast bowler Wahab Riaz is the first pick. He is drafted by Peshawar Zalmi. West Indies allrounder Darren Sammy is also picked up by Peshawar.  Ahmed Shahzad has been picked by Quetta while Pakistan T20 specialist bowler Sohail Tanvir has been picked by Karachi Kings. 

As the first Diamond, round starts Karachi picks young Imad Wasim. Mohammad Rizwan and Anwar Ali have gone to Lahore and Quetta respectively. West Indies spinner Samuel Badree has been picked up by Islamabad. Meanwhile, Islamabad drafted Mohammad Irfan for $70,000. Kamran Akmal and Brad Haddin has gone Peshawar and Islamabad respectively. Ravi Bopara of England has gone to Karachi Kings and leg-spinner Yasir Shah been picked by Lahore. Quetta got West Indies captain Jason Holder. 

Finally, Mohammad Hafeez has found a team. He is picked up by Peshawar. Chris Jordan of England goes to Peshawar.   West Indies batsman Lendon Simmons picked up by Karachi. Sohaib Maqsood goes to Lahore Qalandars at 70,000 USD. Luke Wright goes to Quetta Gladiators at 70,000 USD.

Just after the lunch, break Gold round starts. The most speculated draft of Mohammad Amir finally ended as Karachi Kings bought him for 50,000 USD. Bangladesh bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman goes to Lahore Qalandars at 50,000 USD. Zulfiqar Babar goes to Quetta Gladiators at 50,000 USD.
